Electrolyzers and fuel cells are both essential technologies in the hydrogen value chain. Yet they often operate in separate parts of that chain: production at dedicated sites versus conversion in vehicles. Technically, however, the systems share many similarities. What can we learn from each other’s technical challenges, markets, and approaches? How can we ensure that new ideas move beyond pilots and PowerPoints to scalable, real-world applications? And what do systems look like that effectively integrate fuel cell charging stations and electrolyser plants?
Two inspiring showcases form the basis for an interactive discussion between participants. Together, we will explore how innovations in electrolysis and fuel cells relate to each other within the hydrogen value chain, and what is needed to move innovation towards implementation. The speakers are from the networks of GroenvermogenNL Young and Jong NWBA. The session will be organised and moderated by Tim Vianen (Jong NWBA) and Marie Brands (GVNL Young).
The session language is English.
