General information
The conference will take place at Pakhuis de Zwijger, Piet Heinkade 179, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
It’s a 25 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station, or 2 minutes by tram to the conference venue. You will need to take tram 26 in the direction of IJburg, and exit at the second stop: Kattenburgerstraat. The tram stop is directly across the street from the conference venue.
The conference programme takes place over three days:
8 June – Welcome programme (optional)
Participants are invited to join an informal welcome programme in the evening:
- Boat tour with drinks | 17:15–18:45 CEST
Departure from Stationsplein 28, 1012 AB Amsterdam. The boat will drop you off at IJver Restaurant. - Walking dinner | 18:45–22:30 CEST at IJver Restaurant.

A bus will return guests to Hotel Park Inn by Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West at 22:30 CEST.
9 June – Main conference
The main conference day features a plenary programme, parallel sessions, and networking opportunities throughout the day.

10 June – Members-only programme
A dedicated programme for members only, taking place by invitation.

The programme includes a plenary opening, several interactive break-out sessions, lunch and a reception with networking possibilities.
The conference will be held in English. The plenary opening will be interpreted in Spanish and French. A French and Spanish interpreter will be present for the breakout session “Meet the miners”.

On June 8th, IRMA will hold two events at the conference location, Pakhuis de Zwijger, and welcomes attendees of the EPRM convening to join.
Breakfast Event (9AM – 11AM):
Collective Action, Company Responsibility and Chain of Custody:
This session will explore how unified market signals can drive improvements in all supply chains, while chain of custody allows companies to connect their support of collective actions with their individual responsibilities in due diligence.
Afternoon Co-Learning Session (1:30 – 4:00PM):
Voluntary Standards in a Shifting Sociopolitical Context:
By examining the origins and purpose of voluntary standards, this interactive session will explore how these initiatives complement regulations and provide a consistent and credible basis for operational excellence and continuous improvement in the mining industry.

Travel & visa
Travellers from outside of Europe often need a visa. Please check if you need a visa and how to apply here.

No, this is at your own expense. You can request this when booking through Mainport Travel Management.
A train will take you from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Centraal Station in less than 20 minutes. Trains leave every 10 minutes from Schiphol Plaza. If you have Apple Pay or Google Wallet on your phone, you can use that to check-in at the yellow posts from the NS (Dutch Railroads) spread out all over Schiphol Plaza.
You can also use your credit card or your debit card to check-in at the yellow posts. When you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station, you need to exit through one of the small gates. To open the gates and pay for your fare, use the same method of payment you used to check-in.
Alternatively, you can buy a single ticket at one of the yellow train ticket machines, also spread out all over Schiphol Plaza hall. Please note: you need to validate your ticket first by checking in at one of the yellow NS posts before getting on the train.

If you want to use public transport to get around Amsterdam, you can check-in on the bus, tram and metro the same way you checked-in on the train: by using Apple Pay or Google Wallet on your phone, or by using your credit card or debet card. Don’t forget to check-out when you exit the bus, tram or metro.

Your invitation mentions if accommodation is included. If it isn’t included, a preferential group rate has been secured with Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West. Please indicate during registration if you wish to benefit from this rate, and we will contact you to coordinate your reservation.
Yes, but only if you book through Mainport Travel Point Management. This option will be given during your registration.
Our preferred travel agent Mainport Travel Management has managed to block rooms in the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West. Depending on the check-in/check-out date the rates are between EUR 235.00 and 275.00 per room per night incl. breakfast. These rates are flexible till at least 31-05-2026. If your travel dates differ from our program the rates may be different. Mainport Travel Management can send you a personalized, tailor- made proposal. The rates are dependent on availability.
Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West
Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a 6-minute train ride to Amsterdam Central Station. From there, it’s a 20-minute walk to the conference venue. Alternatively, you can take public transport for a 2-minute tram ride to the conference venue. You will need to take tram 26 in the direction of IJburg, and exit at the second stop: Kattenburgerstraat. The tram stop is directly across the street from the conference venue.

Yes, we ask about these when you register for the conference and they will be taken into account. A wide range of vegetarian options will be available during all catering moments.
